This afternoon, our high school students explored that question at our College & Career Fair! From colleges and career opportunities to learning more about their future possibilities, students had the chance to start thinking about where their next steps might lead.
And apparently, we have some future surgeons, teachers, engineers, entrepreneurs, tooth fairies, and more walking our halls! 👀
Even a few of our staff members got in on the fun and shared what they wanted to be when they grew up! 😂
We love giving our students opportunities to dream big, explore their interests, and prepare for the future God has planned for them.
🍎 Johnny Appleseed Week in First Grade! 🍎
Before fall break, our first graders celebrated Johnny Appleseed Week with hands-on learning, a trip to the apple orchard, apple tastings, and lessons about the life cycle of an apple tree!
Students also learned about John Chapman’s connection to mission work and explored a sweet reminder of God’s design: an apple has three parts but is still one apple, just as God is three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—yet one God.
We love learning, exploring, and discovering God’s truth together!

Growing Beyond the Soil!
Our 7th-grade science students are exploring hydroponic gardening and discovering how crops can thrive without soil using nutrient-rich water.
From harvesting giant radishes to learning how hydroponics can provide fresh food in communities—and even in space!—students are connecting classroom science to real-world challenges.
At Whitefield, we’re growing more than plants—we’re growing curious thinkers, problem-solvers, and future innovators.

Our Kindergarteners have been learning about community helpers over the last few weeks and this week they learned about being a K9 Officer!

Our STEM students designed and 3D-printed their own rockets with different weights, then put them to the test to see which would fly the farthest!
We love hands-on learning that brings STEM concepts to life!
