Every Child Seen & Supported
At Whitefield Academy, every child is known, valued, and supported. Rooted in Christ’s love, our Student Support program is designed to care for the whole student—socially, emotionally, academically, and spiritually.
As students navigate challenges and grow in independence, they are guided to build Christlike character, develop resilience, and become confident, responsible decision-makers. From kindergarten through 12th grade, your child is supported through every step of their Whitefield journey.
Our compassionate counseling team is committed to helping students develop a foundation of Christlikeness, confidence, and lifelong growth.
Academic & College Counseling
Each student receives personalized support throughout the college search and application process. Throughout high school, students meet with counselors to explore college options, develop balanced college lists, and navigate each step of the application journey.
Our goal is to support every student in discovering the college, trade, career, or post-secondary path that best fits their goals, strengths, and ambitions.
The college process is an important milestone for both students and families, and our counseling team works in partnership with both—providing guidance, clarity, and encouragement every step of the way. Our hope is that students feel confident and prepared for what lies ahead.
Counselors work with students to develop thoughtful academic plans and guide them through the course selection process, helping them choose classes that support their academic growth and prepare them for higher education.
Students are encouraged to think intentionally about life after high school throughout each year by engaging in:
- career exploration opportunities
- college planning meetings
- extracurricular involvement (clubs, athletics, arts)
- academic goal setting
- standardized testing preparation
Through this process, students begin to better understand their strengths, interests, and future goals.

Career Exploration & Experience
Whitefield Academy’s Career Exploration Program (CEP) is a selective opportunity available to seniors through an application process.
Through experiences such as:
- internships
- employment
- volunteer service
- apprenticeships
- entrepreneurship
Students gain valuable real-world experience while exploring potential career paths. This program helps students think critically about their future while building practical skills and meaningful professional connections.

Learning Accomodation Plans
The goal of the Learning Accommodation Plan is to provide select students with accomodation resources that remove learning obstacles while bolstering confidence in who God made them to be.
Every student’s journey is unique. The LAP is a personalized and customized plan that serves as the roadmap for their success at Whitefield and beyond.
